Earthing - a term that was coined in fairly recent times one may say, but the process itself is definitely not new.
Earthing simply refers to being in direct contact with the Earth. The contact here is more of a physical connection between the electrical frequencies of the human body and that of the Earth. We have all heard of how simply being in the sunlight increases our vitamins, specifically vitamin D. In a similar manner, Earth too is a great source of subtle energy in the form of electrons. By simply being in touch with our Earth with our bare feet or body, electrons are passed into you. When our body absorbs enough electrons to maintain the same electric potential as the Earth we become grounded. It must be noted that this amount is different for everyone as it depends on their lifestyle and activity.
Our Earth’s surface practically has an abundant supply of these electrons which means that the ground we walk on and the oceans and lakes have a natural electric charge. When there is contact between our body and the Earth through a touch any external environmental electric charges are dissipated as static electricity. Simultaneously we also receive an energy charge (in the form of free electrons) which makes our body attune or synchronize with Mother Earth’s natural frequencies.
Earthing doesn’t necessarily involve walking barefoot alone. One could stand, sit, lie down on the Earth and just make sure our skin is in direct contact with the Earth. The surface does not have to be grass or soil either, one can even use unsealed concrete, water bodies like lakes and streams.
So there you have it, all you need to do is simply find a patch of Earth, take off your shoes and spend some time - at least 30 minutes minimum per day and you can be grounded. Let’s not stay disconnected from this important source of electrons.
