The gratitude effect - how gratitude is the secret to manifestation 🙏

I am grateful for realizing that the pen is still mightier than the sword and words have the power to shift our thoughts shift our focus shift our energy. What I did just now is start with expressing gratitude for the power of writing which brought me to motivate myself to write a fresh new blog. This will empower me to focus my attention on mindful words and will bring and attract opportunities to write more. This is what gratitude means to appreciate something in its true form to be thankful for what it is doing to you and to acknowledge what we are receiving in the present moment by grounding ourselves in the present moment totally. Often when we manifest something our deep rooted desires we make sure to follow each step - journalling, visualising like it is already happening and surrendering complete faith to the process, to ourself, to the universe that is forever listening indebtly and patiently. With our steady and still silenced focus we make it happen as well, the universe makes it happen

*cuing SRK's dialogue here* - Kisi cheez ko dil se chaho puri shiddat se chaho - you know the drill ;)

Notice how SRK expresses gratitude for his loved ones being there with him. What does this tell us

Gratitude is the first step we should make before we manifest anything and the most important step to take when we have received it. Throughout the journey being grateful being happy being excited naturally transcends us into that frequency.

🎀 Khud ki tareef karna nahi pasand mujhe lekin chalo aaj karti hoon just for this blog 🎀

Witnessing the magic of this amazing tool I want to share an experience. Since the last few months I have been sincerely praying and researching to find the best equipment to start composting at home, the purpose I want to give back to nature everything we receive from her and with magnified abundance. Additionally while bringing plants home what I had in mind was these are not just plants but gifts of nature chosen not simply for their outer beauty but for the meaning each one holds, for the simple connection with each and every single plant that urged me to buy them.

For example : My first ever plant that I bought was a beautiful little plant which I named as "Kiddo" for this word "Kiddo" meant calling someone with a pure expression of love. It was a succulent plant a cactus. I have had a special love for "cactus" for it symbolises courage and strength.

This means that it is a commitment for me to dedicate care, time, attention and create a loving space for them to grow. Compost is this the food and nutrition and love that plants deserve and the planet for the planet will also be thankful that you choose to recycle what you could instead of dumping on her soft surface. I bought a composting kit from "Vapra" and before starting out with the steps I expressed gratitude to universe and prayed and telepathically sent positive energies to my plants that I wish for them to accept this compost as food and as nutrition once ready and that just as how plants grow slowly teaching us patience, I hope to be patient in this process too. When you express gratitude you are reminded of the things one might overlook like with expressing gratitude everyday I understood the responsibility and the timely rotation of the compost that is being added. Gratitude serves as a reminder to be involved, for me this was in the form of checking the moisture of the soil, checking that ingredients are being mixed well the lid is covered correctly etc. After a committed process of 1 month once I opened the compost I found it to be ready and this further filled me with joy and happiness. As I ordered the planting tools to dig and add new soil I expressed gratitude again to universe for the learnings I had through this process.

So what are the learnings I am grateful for

  1. Consistency - the key to growth is consistently showing up for yourself, similarly for a compost too the key to a good compost is consistent care and attention.

  2. Open mind and intuitiveness - Having an open mind and heart means you have the ability to try new things, to receive new wisdom and share your experience gained wisdom. With composting too having an open mind and heart meant that I will receive tips to add new things to it like leftover tea leaves after tea - who knew this could enrich soil but on the insistence of grandmother I tried and saw fruitful results.

  3. Waste is gold if reused well - Fruit peels as waste and seeds all of these serve as essential ingredients for compost. One reduces the waste thrown in black large kilos of disposable plastic bags and becomes more effort driven to reuse as much as one can to reduce our load on the planet.

I certainly visualised that I am sitting in a garden happily silently adding compost for our plants. When the universe blessed me with the opportunity I expressed gratitude. It also means that you don't take what you receive for granted. Until we keep complaining about our problems we will never grow. Gratitude is growth and growth comes from the ability to take problems like a natural part of life, what we consider problems can be seen as a fun drama that makes life more thrilling and instills our strength to keep going keep pushing ourselves to becoming strong navigating solutions in calm.

Gratitude and love for reading till the end :)
